           A polícia da cidade de São Paulo ontem, foi fazer uma desocupação em um prédio particular onde 200 famílias viviam ilegalmente, sem assistência social, sem nenhuma preocupação com mulheres grávidas e crianças, a polícia entrou com gás lacrimogênio e bala de borracha, resultado: confronto, barricadas de fogo, ônibus incendiado, 2 presos, sendo 1 com braço quebrado e outro com pontos no rosto, e no mínimo 30 pessoas feridas.

Indo em direção contrária à estratégia da PM, os ativistas de Belo Horizonte promoveram hoje o ato "17J - Copa sem povo, tô na rua de novo". Depois de uma série de tentativas de manifestar pacificamente, cerca de 400 ativistas saíram hoje, 17, para levar às ruas as bandeiras pela Tarifa Zero (em relação ao preço abusivo cobrado pela passagem de ônibus)  em BH, a democratização dos meios de comunicação, a desmilitarização da PM, contra as remoções e contra a criminalização do protesto e dos movimentos sociais.

Mais uma vez a polícia do Rio de Janeiro mostra o quanto está despreparada, um policial de moto, resolve atirar com uma pistola em manifestantes, e outro aparentemente a paisana resolve sacar sua arma mas se recusa a mostrar sua identificação como policial para o manifestante.

Although it might lave seemed like a good idea to host the 2014
FIFA World Cup in Brazil - one of the most soccer-obsessed country
by storm in the lead-up to the tournament.
The Brazilian government is spending an estimated $14 billion on
this year's tournament, making it the most expensive World Cup to
date. This has provoked outrage among Brazilians, many of whom view
the government as corrupt, and are now seeing vast amounts
of money being spent on soccer stadiums and police, while the
coutry's endemic poverty and social issues are ignored.
This growing led to violent anti-government protests breaking out in June
of 2013, which have continued with increasing momentum in the lead-up to the
World Cup. The Brazilian government has responded to these demonstrations
by deploying attempt to suppress the masses. Despite this crackdown, major
demonstrations continue to take pleace in cities across the country
as international teams begin to arrive for games.
VICE News traveled to Brazil to see how the country is preparing
for one of the wolrd's biggest international events, while simultaneously
struggling to control a mountig civil uprising. In the first episode of
this five-part series, we meet some of the activists involved in the protests,
and attend a marijuana-legalization demonstration in Rio de Janeiro.

Justiça no Brasil... uma piada / Justice in Brazil ...this a joke?

   No Brasil sabemos que não há uma justiça com igualdade, as diferenças são tão gritantes que realmente incomoda.    Hoje vou mostrar uma comparação entre a punição para uma pessoa pobre, e a punição para uma pessoa rica.

   Alex Santana de Souza, 19 anos, foi detido depois de roubar seis livros, uma enciclopédia, uma agenda e adesivos de caderno na Livraria Cultura, no Salvador Shopping. Segundo a assessoria de comunicação da Polícia Militar,  policiais da 35ª Companhia da PM (Iguatemi) foram acionados por seguranças do shopping, anteontem, que denunciaram o roubo.

   Quando os PMs chegaram ao local, Alex confessou o crime.Ele foi levado, junto com outros dois suspeitos, para a 1ª Delegacia (Barris). Segundo agentes de plantão na delegacia, Alex disse que roubou os produtos porque queria ler as obras. Na manhã de ontem, ele foi transferido para a Central de Flagrantes do Complexo Penitenciário de Mata Escura.

A Justiça do Rio de Janeiro condenou, por homicídio culposo (sem intenção de matar) o empresário Thor Batista pelo atropelamento que matou o ciclista Wanderson Pereira dos Santos, 30 anos, na rodovia BR-040, na altura de Xerém, distrito de Duque de Caxias, na Baixada Fluminense, em março do ano passado.


A pena de dois anos de detenção, porém, foi convertida, e ele terá que prestar serviços comunitários. Além disso, Thor, que é filho do bilionário Eike Batista, terá que pagar indenização de R$ 1 milhão a entidades de vítimas do trânsito e ficará dois anos com a habilitação para dirigir suspensa.



A juíza Daniela Barbosa Assumpção, da 2ª Vara Criminal de Duque de Caxias, determinou que Thor deverá cumprir, durante uma hora por cada dia da sentença (dois anos), prestação de serviços comunitários em entidade ainda a ser indicada. Nela, Thor terá que fazer atividades voltadas ao auxílio na recuperação de vítimas de acidente de trânsito.

Tomando como exemplo o rapaz Thor, se fosse dada a mesma punição para o ladrão de livros, ele poderia estar prestando serviços comunitários, agora eu queria saber quem foi o grande lesado para que ele possa ajudar... hummm... livraria cultura... que tal ele trabalhar para a livraria cultura de graça por 1 mês...assim pagaria os 334 reais roubados e seria uma pena a altura do thor... mas não né... cadê os direitos humanos? e a justiça que tantos acham que existe neste país?
